من أجل غزة قررنا إطفاء أضوائنا ومياهنا والصوم عن طعامنا يوم الخميس السابع والعشرين من نوفمبر الجاري الساعة الثامنة مساءاً كتضامن رمزي مع إخواننا هنا لنشعرهم بشيء من التعاطف والمناصرة لهم ولقضيتهم وليتأكدوا أكثر بأننا شعوب مكبلة لا حيلة لنا ولا قوة إلا من وفقه الله لفعل شيء خارق للعادة وللطبيعة، وأن المشكة في حكامنا الذين أغلقوا الحدود وكمموا الأفواه وقيدوا الجنود..

الحملة لن تقتصر على هذه الساعة..لكنها ستستمر وبأشكال مختلفة طالما بقيت المأساة على أهلنا في غزة وفي فلسطين.

نتمنى المشاركة من الجميع والدعم والنشر والربط لهذه الحملة، وأتمنى ممن له رأي آخر ولا يرغب بالمشاركة أن يبتعد عن التعليقات السلبية والإعتراضات الفارغة وأي تعليق من ذلك سيحذف، وليجد له طريقة لإقتحام حدود غزة وإيصال شاحناته العالقة إلى هناك.

في اليوم الموعود لقطع الكهرباء والماء نتمنى من الجميع أن يكتب عن تجربته في هذه الساعة مع إرفاق صور أو فيديو لها إن أمكن حتى نوصل الرسالة بشكل تفاعلي كبير..

WE ARE AWARE… AND WE DO CARE

As we sit there relaxed in our comfortable chairs, there are people suffering and in pain. The people of Gaza have been exposed to a brutal blockade by Israel. Our beloved people are suffering from shortage of food, and living with no water or electricity. Students cannot reach their universities and patients in hospitals are prevented from receiving medical treatment due to the lack of electricity and medication.

This siege is definitely an unjust mass punishment imposed on the innocent civilians. All laws, right and freedoms consider this as an extremely immoral, harsh and illegal act. This blockade has transformed the Gaza Strip into a prison where the basics of life are discarded from the innocent people. Because we care, because we believe in peace, rights and freedoms to all, we invite you all to participate in a campaign of solidarity with Gaza. This is just to show that we are aware and that we do care.

This campaign is simply a day in which we decide to cut off water and electricity from our homes for one hour. Through this time, we will sit in the light of candles to feel some of the suffering of our beloved people in Gaza.

The date agreed upon is on Thursday, 27^th of November at eight o’clock in the evening. Again, both, water and electricity will be cut for one whole hour, and we will sit in the light of candles.

We ask all bloggers and people to participate in this campaign and spread the word through their blogs, and websites.
